1). Job Title: Lawyer – Capital Market

Location: Lagos

Our client is an asset management company with a team of experienced industry expert. They currently have an opening for a Lawyer – Capital Market.

Job Overview

  • Advising on legal and regulatory matters.
  • Drafting documents.
  • Negotiating contracts.
  • Working with bankers to obtain approval from various external parties such as regulators, listing agencies and rating agencies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review the statutory corporate documents of an issuer and other transaction parties to ensure that they have the necessary legal capacity and authority to enter into a transaction;
  • Carry out due diligence to ensure that all information material to a transaction are disclosed in the transaction documents;
  • Advise on the legal structure of the transaction and on legal risks associated with it;
  • Negotiate, draft and review all legal documentations required for a transaction including but not limited to the prospectus, offer/scheme documents, trust deeds, vending agreements, powers of attorney/consents and underwriting agreements;
  • Advise parties on disclosure obligations and general observance of and compliance with sound corporate governance principles, rules and regulations as they relate to a transaction;
  • Advise on compliance with the requirements of the Corporate Affairs Commission, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the listing requirements of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and other relevant industry specific regulatory requirements;
  • Certify or obtain certification of compliance with all statutory requirements by the issuer and other parties to a transaction;
  • Make all statutory filings and provide confirmations (legal opinion) as to the enforceability and effectiveness of transaction documents;
  • File necessary applications in Court in support of transactions.
  • Any other roles ancillary to any of the above.

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Laws (LLB) is required (Masters of Laws (L.L.M) is an added advantage)
  • Must have at least 4 years of post NYSC Capital Market experience.
  • Experience in drafting, negotiating and reviewing legal documents is required.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills
  • Natural leader who displays sound judgment and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and public speaking skills

2). Job Title: Operations Support Representative

Location: Lagos

Our Client in the e-commerce sector is looking to hire an Operation Support Representative.

Responsibilities

The Operations Support Representative will be involved but not limited to the following tasks:

  • Attend to walk-in merchants by assisting them to book shipments, prepare packages for deliveries and also resolve any sign up challenges.
  • Attend to courier partners by receiving packages, processing them for delivery and forwarding packages for delivery.
  • Manage and resolve daily courier partner issues, failures and delays.
  • Communicate with merchants, courier partners and internal teams to manage and resolve issues.
  • Taking note of customer complaints, escalating them to the team in charge and following up.
  • Resolve hub related issues escalated by the support, operations and tech team promptly.
  • Identify opportunities and offer recommendations to implement solutions.
  • Generate and send weekly hub related reports to the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Previous work experience in similar role specifically
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • 1-2 Years of experience in a Customer/Client facing position
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Cross-selling and Up-selling
