Atlantic Exhibition Nigeria Limited was birthed with the desire to promote Nigerian Businesses, showcasing them to the global stage thereby giving them value. The company was established as a Limited Liability Company in the year 2013 and started operations that same year on the 7th floor, Necon House, Marina. From its humble beginnings at Marina, till date Atlantic Exhibition Nigeria Limited has proven to be a force to be reckoned with within the Exhibitions and Corporate Events Space.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Event Officer

Location: Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all calls and emails are responded to promptly and professionally and maximize conversion rate from enquiry to confirmed Sales.
  • Ensure that all events/Exhibitions are immaculately organized and meet the high standards expected.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for existing accounts by providing excellent service, developing a successful relationship with clients, and ultimately building long-term loyalty.
  • Liaise with clients regarding all logistical aspects of their event including security, AV, and the upselling of events/Exhibition spaces.
  • Maintain and update database accurately – ensuring the client contact details are kept up to date and financial details are inputted correctly.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of events in the Centre’s diary to ensure efficient diary management and to update and share operational information.
  • Undertake event management including duty management and logistics on the day ensuring the smooth running of events and that our clients have the best possible experience.  
  • Ability to lead a team when needed and manage larger revenue-generating events end to end.
  • Assist the Events Manager in maintaining an overview of the budget and finance systems by keeping appropriate spreadsheets up to date.
  • Be proactive, seeking opportunities to develop and maintain the Events Marketing plan.
  • Assist with the development of social media pages and campaigns and have the ability to manage specialist online venue platforms.
  • Assist in managing effectively the relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Any other ad-hoc duty as requested by the Events Manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in Event Planning/Project Management.
  • BSc/HND in any related field.
  • Must possess all relevant skills.
  • Proximity to Magboro is key.

Salary

  • N80,000 – N100,000 monthly.
