Job Title: Health & Safety Officer
- Location: Bayelsa
Job Description
- Ensure preparation and implementation of Site Safety and Health Plans and inspect the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.
- Ensure the practice of safe working techniques.
- Establish a cordial and professional relationship with employees.
- Maintain compliance of all safety regulations.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to share best practice techniques.
- Standardize health and safety in order to remain consistent.
- Compile and Promote safety initiatives.
- Regularly inspect plant equipment to ensure it is within safety standards and policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
- BSc / BA in Safety Management, Engineering or relevant field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a safety officer.
- Valid competency certificates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.
