Job Title: Human Resource Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition:

  • Support multiple business lines and manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle for select positions.
  • Overseeing the talent acquisition procedures, suggesting measures and tactical approaches to improve the organization’s employment recruitment cycle.
  • Develop and implement a progressive sourcing strategy to increase diverse talent acquisition and retention.
  • Create and drive innovative recruitment methods to build a continuous pipeline to reach passive job seekers and to source difficult to fill positions.
  • Creating job descriptions and advertising via effective channels.
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
  • Support multiple business lines and manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle for select positions.

Learning and Development:

  • Identify training and development needs within the organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers.
  • Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and the individual.
  • Consider the costs of planned programmes and keep within budgets
  • Plan and assess the ‘return on investment’ of any training or development programme
  • Develop effective induction programmes for new staff, apprentices and graduate trainees
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers
  • Devise individual learning plans
  • Devise a training strategy for the organisation
  • Build training programmes from scratch (from the initial idea through planning, implementation, review and outcomes analysis)

HR Functions:

  • Assist in Driving the company’s culture in creating a great place to work for our employees and foster an environment where behavior is aligned to our values.
  • Contribute to the strategic initiatives are taken within the department.
  • Assist in managing employee’s welfare and developing initiatives for optimal employee engagement.

Job Requirements

  • BSc / BA in Business Administration, Social Studies or relevant field; further training will be a plus
  • 3 years’ post NYSC core HR experience preferably in talent acquisition and management and learning and development.

Job Title: Fund Accountant

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

  • The Fund Accountant is solely responsible for the preparation and review of mutual fund and private equity fund valuations, including portfolio valuation, and income allocations. In addition, the incumbent will be involved in the preparation and review of reports, act as a direct liaison with the fund managers, fund administrators, custodian and other related parties.

The Main Responsibilities of the Position
The successful candidate will play a vital and accountable role in all aspects of fund accounting and management. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Daily cash reconciliation of mutual funds bank accounts
  • Daily cash reconciliation of mutual funds bank accounts
  • Monthly securities reconciliation
  • Monthly Portfolio reconciliation
  • Daily Settlement of Treasury bills/ bonds/Fixed Deposits instruments
  • Daily Direct Debit mandate management
  • Daily calculation of available inflow for investment and settlement of trades
  • Liaison with Custodian and trustees
  • Prepare daily cash reconciliations reports
  • Ensure prompt daily posting of all financial transactions to appropriate funds/portfolios and the respective general ledgers within specified timeline
  • Mentoring and management of interns assigned to the unit

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent Honours degree in Economics; Accounting, Finance; Actuarial Science, Statistics, Banking & Finance or other related discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Fund Accountant
  • Relevant professional qualification such Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA will be an added advantage

Job Title: Internal Auditor

Job Summary

  • The Internal Auditor requires a high level of analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgment.
  • As an internal auditor you will mainly cover the end to end process for internal audits and liaise with the external auditors for external audit exercise which may include but not limited to an audit of systems, processes, people, assets, liabilities in other aspects of an Investment Management business.

Responsibilities

  • Implement best audit and business practices in line with Statements of Auditing Standard (SAS).
  • Develop and implement the annual Internal Audit plan.
  • Develop, implement and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practice.
  • Performance general and application control reviews from simple to complex computer information system
  • Manage resources and audit assignments.
  • Identify and assess areas of significant business risk.
  • Identify and reduce all business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls.
  • Examines documentation, including reports, statements, records, and memos to gather information
  • Conduct ad-hoc investigations into identified or reported risks.
  • Oversee risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes.

  • We seeking to employ a business development officer with sales experience in the financial sector to build and deepen relationships with existing and potential clients by selling product/services of the company, particularly loans and investment products to individuals, retail and MSME customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Grow the existing risk asset portfolio in line with the company’s strategy
  • Identify, develop and cultivate relationships with customers within the retail and MSME segment that are in need of loans and advances to support their business
  • Sell products/services to increase the deposit mobilization portfolio of the company
  • Manage existing clients’ portfolio as well as develop new business opportunities by generating risk assets within the MSME and retail market

  • Follow up on the release of security documents for loans which have been fully repaid
  • Give priority attention to regularize outstanding legal and documentation issues on assigned portfolio.
  • Staff training internally and externally as may be required
  • Carry out such other duties that may be delegated to by Head of Unit

Educational Qualification & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other related fields
  • Minimum of 4 years’ work relevant experience in credit and deposit mobilization within the financial industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales target in the financial sector.
  • Good knowledge of CBN policies on credit and loan administration
