Npower: FG warns against fake deployment websites


NPower Latest: The ministry for humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development through the Hon, Sadiya Umar Farouq, has advised the N-Power batch C applicants to ignore any news about the release of the names of the successful applicants.

The was contained in a statement released on Friday, April 9, 2021, through the ministry’s official Twitter handle.

She stated that information circulating the social media platforms about N-Power batch C deployment as not authentic and made it clear that any website directing the batch C applicants to check their deployment status is fake as such website is not from the ministry. She warned applicants to disregard such.

According to the statement, the ministry shows a platform where applicants are instructed to check if they have been selected for the N-Power trust fund grant and describing it as being fake news.

The Hon minister wants to employ this medium to advise those who are behind the spread of fake news on N-Power as such a person or group of people will not be allowed to go scot-free.

Hon Farouq also advised Npower beneficiaries to confirm any information regarding the Npower program on the official Twitter handle of the ministry before acting.

Nonetheless, she assured that the ministry will ensure that those who meet up with requirements are shortlisted for the program.
