College of Agriculture, Lafia was established in 1977 under the then ministry of Agriculture, Jos, Plateau State as a Training School. In view of the change of Status of the College of Agriculture to College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, the need for additional Departments and Programmes becomes imperative.

Consequently, the Governing Council of the College of Agriculture, Science and Technology Lafia, Nasarawa State hereby invites interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position below:

We need Lecturers who can teach in the following Departments:

• Department of Pest Management Technology
• Department of Fisheries
• Department of Forestry
• Department of Post Harvest Technology
• Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Department of Civil Engineering Technology
• Department of Electrical and Electronics Technology
• Department of Computer Engineering Technology
• Department of Welding and Fabrication Technology
• Department of Survey and Geo-informatics
• Department of Computer Science and Statistics
• Department of Science Laboratory Technology
• Department of Nutrition and Dietetics
• Department of Fashion Design and Clothing Technology
• Department of Laundry and Dry Cleaning Technology.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Candidates must be a Master’s Degree holder in relevant fields of specialization with minimum of three (3) years teaching experience (College of Technology teaching experience or institution of comparable or higher standing) as Lecturer I.
• Candidates must have sufficient number of admissible scholarly publications, reputable journals.
• Candidate must be a registered member of his/her professional body.
• Have a strong evidence of potential for continual research activity and academic leadership/Administrative Responsibility.
• Show evidence of Community Service and must be Computer literate.
