Job Description
Operations:

  • Prepares onshore the CMIMS maintenance and inspection medium term and longer term planning,
  • Plans maintenance operations (routine and short-term)
  • Maintains the CMIMS database with CLIENT validation.
  • Ensures discipline workloads are balanced over the year,
  • Provides direct input into CLIENT longer term planning for Maintenance activities.
  • Provides direct support and coordination of Preventative Maintenance and Inspection activity with the Offshore Methods team.
  • Assists the Methods team onshore with the Coordination and expediting of all equipment repairs.
  • Coordinates the control and update of CMIMS master-data with CLIENT validation,
  • Actions ad-hoc reports from CMIMS as required by CLIENT,
  • Monitors historical maintenance and inspection data quality and advises CLIENT of any anomalies.
  • Compiles the Maintenance & Inspection performance reporting for CLIENT review.
  • Accurately monitors Discipline backlogs (Maintenance and Inspection) and provide monthly reports to CLIENT.
  • Supports the day to day activities of the SMART Room with regards to response to site requests on Maintenance Planning and scheduling.
  • Is the main link between Maintenance team and the Integrated Planning team and feeds and updates the FOPS 5WLA and 4M Planning regularly.

Methods:

  • Ensures all Work (Preventive) is accurately resourced and that all materials and services are identified and pre-planned in CMIMS for execution at site and work location.
  • Conducts reviews in CMIMS to ensure Preventive Maintenance and Inspection workloads are balanced over the year and provides advice and proposals to CLIENT for any CMIMS modification.
  • Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programmes and, if need be, suggests improvements,
  • Warns support teams of any recurring problems related to the availability or quality of spare parts,
  • Keeps track of any backlog of work and suggests corrective measures to the Onshore CLIENT methods Engineers if this backlog threatens to become unmanageable,
  • Develops and provides all medium and longer term planning for the FPSO activities.
  • Provides any ad-hoc reports from CMIMS as directed by CLIENT.
  • Accurately controls (with CLIENT validation) the CMIMS master data.
  • Ensures through the use of CMIMS and his team the coordination, mobilisation and planning of all required Vendors (e.g. Contractors own subcontractors or CLIENT SMC’s).

  • Verifies the quality of planning on production platforms by frequent checks of supervisor reports in CMIMS,
  • Ensures all work loadings per discipline are balanced and achievable and highlights immediately to COMPANY any workload which is unachievable with the resources provided onboard.
  • Ensures all Work Orders and Notifications in CMIMS are tracked accurately and COMPANY requirements for CMIMS control followed.
  • Ensures that all CMIMS reports and Maintenance and Inspection performance reports are accurate.

Profile
The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

  • Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent,
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in the Planning of maintenance activities on oil and gas production installations,
  • A high level knowledge of CMIMS (UNISUP) or Similar SAP packages.
  • A good knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations.

Specific Professional Knowledge:

  • Pride in his work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others,
  • Physical ability to work temporarily on offshore installations and in the climatic conditions of the site,
  • Languages: English necessary – score of >> 3.5 in standard Total test or Bright test or 780 in TOEIC, French an advantage
  • Perfectly competent and independent in his field, he must show common sense and organisational ability.

  • Minimum level of experience required: 6 years or more

Job Title: Electrical & Instrumentation Trainer (M / F)

  • Deliver theoretical and OJT programmes for electrical & instruments technicians, supervisors, specialists and graduate engineers to enable a common high level of competence.
  • Responsible for the implementation and compliance of the E&I Engineering and Maintenance Team Competence assurance system across the Spie business in all assets.
  • Support line managers in identifying needs and ensuring these needs are met in a consistent and cost effective manner.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Deliver theoretical and OJT programmes for electrical & instruments technicians, supervisors, specialists and graduate engineers.
  • Develop and prepare all course teaching materials and visual aids liaising as required with the Recruitment Team. This will also include any course reference materials and/or student workbooks.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy of all individual training records and to provide accurate reports as and when required.
  • Provide the client with detailed student progress reports containing the
  • assessment, level of competence, attendance and behaviors of the trainees.
  • Liaise with equipment vendors and any additional specialist instrumentation suppliers to ensure that teaching materials support the knowledge required for a trainee to develop satisfactory workplace competence.
  • Conduct instrument and control overview training program for production personnel and others requiring a basic presentation on the plants operational control features.
  • Design appropriate courses for the trainees and to schedule their release to the operational plant to enable them to quickly develop and utilize their new skills on the job.
  • Conduct refresher training courses and additional remedial program if requested

Profile

  • You have extensive experience working in the Oil & Gas Services industry as an Electrical & Instrumentation Trainer.
  • Good knowledge & usage of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Job Title: Precommissioning and Commissioning Electrical and Instrumentation Leader * M / F

Responsibilities
Pre-commissioning & Commissioning Preparation Phase:

  • As leader in his discipline, he is involved in the following tasks:
    • Preparation commissioning documents, including Operational Test procedures prepared by the Contractor.
    • Participate to the construction of the commissioning Database as per OPERCOM methodology
    • Follow-up the preparation of pre-commissioning/commissioning dossiers.
    • Responsible to ensure that adequate care and maintenance /preservation procedures of equipment issued by vendors are being carried out during the different steps of the project.
    • Involved in Factory Test when they take place for  subcontracted packages and critical equipment.
    • Involved in witnessing of all the activities to ensure that they are compliant with the Company OPERCOM methodology.

Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Execution Phase (On The Yards):

  • As field electrical and instrument discipline leader, he is involved in the set-up of Status Index & Technical Database preparation carried out by the CONTRACTOR, and verifies the proper equipment allocation in their Subsystems.
  • To perform the Operational Test Procedures and performance tests.
  • To verify and monitor the preparation of precommissioning / commissioning dossiers.
  • Responsible  to  ensure  that  adequate  care  and  maintenance / preservation  procedures  of equipment, issued by vendors, are being carried out and will be properly implemented during the different stages of the project.
  • Responsible for the field instrument discipline (Instruments & PLCs, LLI, new packages and any critical equipment, to review documents, to witness precommissioning / commissioning activities and to ensure they are compliant with Company methodology.
  • To prepare the future integration of all Ikike platforms complex offshore.

Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Execution Phase (Offshore):

  • To lead the electrical and instrument precommissioning / commissioning execution to achieve maximum productivity, minimize cost and smooth handover.
  • Validate the results of the functional and operational tests.
  • To review and validate vendor assistances related to instrument matters.
  • To be committed to the respect of target dates with the required work quality  for handover (RFC-AOC).
  • To coordinate with construction teams the punch list item clearance related to his discipline.

Profile

  • 6 years E&I Precom and Com experience or more
  • Very knowledgeable of TOTAL OPERCOM methodology
  • Safety-conscious
